ENGINE
The 449.3 cc SOHC engine of the FE 450 with a bore of 95 mm and stroke of 63.4 mm was developed specifically for driving in the Enduro in extreme conditions. It is not only easy to use, powerful and torquey , but also effective and reliable. The fusion process allows lower thicknesses of the walls as compared to other production methods , reducing the weight while maintaining the strength and contributing to the overall compactness dell'accoppiata engine / chassis . The cylinder head is characterized by a single camshaft which drives two intake valves read titanium and two exhaust valves in steel. The piston bottom " bridged box" König is closely related to that of the FC 450 to reduce oil consumption and maximize performance. The vibrations are minimized thanks to the tree balancing multifunction to the right of the engine to keep a compact and efficient design , it cancels the inertia acting at the same time to drive the water pump and timing chain .
CRANKSHAFT
The crankshaft and connecting rod are made from lightweight Pankl in rugged high-strength steel and are specifically designed to withstand high torque and power of the FE 450 without sacrificing durability and long maintenance intervals . That's why the crankshaft is fitted with a fixed bearing and two sliding bearings coupled force that run directly on the crankshaft pin.
ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS )
The engine is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system and a Keihin 42 mm throttle body for a great accelerator throttle response and engine performance optimized for hard enduro riding conditions . An alternator 196 W AC -cooled oil provides the necessary current to the entire electrical system. The selector mapping Husky Power Option allows riders to select the mappings. You can also download the data of the motor with a laptop using a special configuration tool.
STARTER
Just like the other models in the range of 4-stroke Enduro Husqvarna , the FE 450 is equipped with an electric starter . Even at the highest levels of competition riders appreciate the quiet power supplied from goodwill when faced with difficult situations.
