"I really look forward to take part to the Merzouga Rally, my Italian friends told me a lot about this race and I’m sure it will be a great fun.
I’m coming with a Japanese friend of mine, Akinori Saito san, who is a very good rider of the American Baja races. We both come with the Italian team Boano Racing".

Do you also race in Japan?
"I have 30 years offroad racing experience in Japan with an Enduro background. Many Japanese love navigating with road book and the rally raid discipline. There are several Rally Raids, the next one will be 4,000km long, but most the routes here in Japan are on the tarmac, only few ones are on gravel or different terrains".
