                  New presentation  BETA 300cc  250cc  2013 
The introduction of new engines in the range 2T RR Enduro is one of the highlights of the history of the house Tuscany, after the return to the Enduro category in 2004 and the introduction of the 4-stroke engine "made in Beta" in 2009. These engines are the result of a work that lasted more than 24 months, were entirely designed by Beta. Available in 250cc and 300cc displacements are manufactured, assembled and tested in-house, to ensure their quality and performance.


 ENGINE
- Available in 250cc and 300cc displacement, presents measures characteristic bore and stroke of 66.4 x 72mm and 72 x 72mm that represent the best compromise to get the correct inertia and then an engine with good torque.
- Carter made by die-casting, to obtain lightness and stiffness simultaneously. Are processed entirely in-house to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Lids magnesium, allow to minimize the total weight of the engine.
- Crankshaft subdivided, with polyamide inserts for proper balance and eliminate the harmful volume in the sump pump. The solution allows to obtain the best balance between inertia and mass.
- Forged piston to hold the weight of the reciprocating masses is equipped with 2 bands.
- Cylinder obtained by die-casting with the Nikasil treated barrel. L 'inclination is 90 ° to have a more compact engine and masses close to the center of gravity of the motorcycle. The geometry of the light has been the subject of a long process of design, analysis and fluid dynamics simulations, as well as a long set-up at the counter and on the bike for delivery characteristics and maximum power that make this engine the new reference the category. Furthermore the cylinder was equipped with resonator to improve delivery at low speeds and have an engine always ready and manageable even in the most demanding routes.

- Electric starter located under the engine, confirming a layout that from the beginning has taken into account the requirement.
- Valve exhaust system with BPV (Beta Progressive Valve). The kinematics of the exhaust valve has been designed to have an opening progressive and independent of the main exhaust port and booster. This allows to have a greater linearity of response of the motor and the absence of holes in the torque curve, in addition to performance of maximum absolute value. The ability to manage the rpm at which the valve opens, allowing you to customize the behavior of the engine according to driving style and road conditions.
- Carburetor Keihin PWK 36, the highest quality for performance and ease of reference 's manual.
- 6-speed gearbox, designed to provide extreme reliability combined with great ease in the grafts in all conditions of use.
- Reed "VForce4", equipped with stopper for greater reliability without compromise to performance.
- Exhaust steel and aluminum silencer made by the American FMF. Were defined after extensive road tests and their geometry has been optimized for fluid delivery without sacrificing power.
- Control and power Kokusan.


CHASSIS

- Frame derived from the 4T but with specific geometry for maximum performance in terms of handling and stability. As of version 4T 2013, this frame is derived from the experience acquired models Factory and has the same lightness and strength.
- Wheels particularly light due to brake discs with a new profile, very strict with 6
points of attachment to the hub, made of high quality steel, allow a braking modular and extremely effective. Hubs and lightweight at the same time very rigid. - Sachs fork Ø 48 mm with completely new internal parts and springs K 4.2. This allows a perfect control of the hydraulic part which results in a better absorption of shocks and hence a greater ease of driving in the most extreme conditions. In addition, the adjustment of the rebound damping is now through an external registry positioned above the fork body.
- Rear shock absorber with dedicated calibration, spring K 4.8 and expansion tank increased to provide better control of the hydraulics, cooling and therefore more stable performance. The body of the shock absorber is made of aluminum allowing a saving of weight of 300 grams compared to the equivalent steel.
- Tank designed to ensure a better centering of weight and therefore stability when changing direction of motion. The shape lowered in the area of ​​the cap provides a better ergonomics, while the total capacity turns out to be of 8 liters.
- Tank cap with a shape which facilitates the operations of opening and closing and with external thread to avoid that dirt may enter the tank at the time of its mounting.
- Saddle with a lateral profile and a section that allow a great ease of movement, for a better control of the bike in all circumstances.
- Fixing saddle that makes it very easy to release but prevents extreme conditions of use of the bike or because of extreme impacts from coming loose.
- Side panels with a design that allows for great flow and a substantial circulation in the area around the head of the engine. This shape also gives a very slender line to the motorcycle and in practice make it very easy both the position in the saddle that any maintenance / control in the upper part of the engine.
- Grids radiator with an optimized shape for directing a greater flow of air towards the radiators, and then stabilize the engine cooling under extreme conditions of use.
