Honda announced on Thursday that will compete in the Dakar Rally 2013, from January 5, with three riders: Portuguese Helder Rodrigues, Argentine Javier Pizzolito and American Johnny Campbell. The company had previously announced the participation of five riders. However, Brazilian Felipe Zanol and Briton Sam Sunderland crashed during training in the area of the Mojave Desert, California (USA), in early December. Zanol remains hospitalized in the United States and shows signs of recovery. "Felipe Zanol and Sam Sunderland were part of Team HRC project from the beginning and participated in all tests, and the Rally of Morocco in October.
