Husqvarna has gone to KTM

Husqvarna has increased from BMW Pierer Industries AG. The news, made official today by BMW, is sensational, Pierer Industries is headed by Stefan Pierer that with its holding company, and with the strong support of the Indian stock Bajaj has control of KTM.
"BMW Group - said the statement of the House of Monaco - is re-tuning the activity BMW Motorrad. As part of the changes in the motorcycle market, the demographics and the increase in demand environmental, BMW Motorrad will expand its product around this future growth potential. The focus of the realignment will be focused on urban mobility and electric mobility. With the restructuring of this segment, the BMW Group will focus on the expansion and use of the resources of the brand BMW Motorrad. For this reason, the BMW Group has signed an agreement with the Austrian Pierer Industries AG for the sale of Husqvarna Motorcycles. The sale is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities. Both companies have agreed not to disclose the sale price. "
The sale of Husqvarna Pierer Industries may not be so closed in on itself, beyond the choice of abandoning the BMW offroad racing where it has not been able to exploit the potential of the Swedish brand, is to understand how much is involved KTM. Pierer Industries with its partners KTM Bajaj controls, but on Husqvarna has moved on its own, nothing here to Stefan Peirer Indian partners. By observing all the possible scenarios feared by many observers to imagine a future in Stefan Pierer exclusively engaged in Husqvarna, just to recite and write, it is a heresy. Pierer, who has a track record of ristrutturatore firms in difficulty (it happened also with KTM) had already reported being able to bring Husqvarna in five years to 20,000 motorcycles (roughly means the doubling of production): discnede here a letura positive agreement for the factory and the workers of Cassinetta Biandronno, CEO KTM is certainly in a position to assign and track the right strategic direction.
